On June 14th, via using the online iTest platform, the Cloud final exam of College English has been successfully organized. From 8:30am to 10:30am, 4471 students attended the College English (4-2) test, and from 14:30 to 16:30, 4722 students attended the College English (4-4) test. It is the first time to organize such an online test which involved in a large number of students. To ensure the test to go smoothly, Secretary of the College Zhang Yongning, Associate Dean, head of departments and laboratory director attended and arranged the test process.
Focusing on the process, multiple evaluation and the output of linguistic competence
The test of College English emphasizes on accessing the process. Since the reform of college English teaching, the average proportion of final exams at all levels has not exceeded 50%, and a differentiated assessment system has been formulated according to diverse levels. This semester's online teaching focuses more on examining students' learning process, including online learning, online discussion and online test. It pays attention to the feedback and effect of students' online learning and emphasizes their ability of speaking and writing.

Teamwork, clear-divided job, and responsibility assurance system
In order to ensure the smooth progress of such a large-scale examination, the School of Foreign Studies has set up a college English examination group, headed by Vice Dean Han Shuqin and supervised by Secretary Zhang Yongning, using QQ group to communicate with each other timely.
The college English final test involves itest platform, final exam paper,final invigilation and other work. Thus the college holds the final exam work, discusses related matters of the final exam, clarifies the respective division of labor, and emphasizes the responsibility of everyone. During this test, Associate Dean is responsible for the overall deployment, communication and coordination, the lab director is responsible for the coordination with itest platform personnel arrangement, the head of each department is responsible for the division of work in each department, the person in charge of each level is responsible for online issue and online release of examination papers, teachers of each course are responsible for students’ familiarity with the platform, online simulation and final video invigilation.

Focusing on details, simulating several times, to ensurethe successful completion of online examination
Learning about students' online test conditions in advance and making full preparation. Before the exam, the college English teaching team organized students to conduct a survey on their electronic device. For students who have difficulties in device and network, the group has prepared the alternative examination plans (alternative paper or offline examination).

Organizing simulation many times, being familiar with the procedures. College English Department I and College English Department II have organized the simulation test many times, and adopted single-level simulation and unified simulation at all levels in order to test the online platform ports and ensure that teachers and students are familiar with the online examination process and.

Emphasizing the test disciplines and refining its requirements. After several rounds of online and conference discussions, Notes on College English Examinations has been formulated by the college English testing team, which is uniformly issued by the Academic Affairs Office to notify all students who will take the test. The Notice includes pre-test requirements, test process and attentions, which clearly stipulates the detailed requirements of the test. Before the test, all students must sign the integrity test commitment by electronic signature.

Ensuring fairness and justice, and successfully organizing the test of College English online. Based on the iTest platform, college English online test is carried out by generating test papers randomly, issuing them timely and receiving them uniformly. So varied test papers for each student are ensured the fairness and impartiality of the test. All teachers achieved well in the online surveillance. After completing the test, paperless evaluation and electronic archiving are realized through this platform.

During the special period of epidemic prevention and control, the college English teaching team has been planned ahead and carefully deployed, meanwhile, they continuously doing well in “teaching, learning and testing” and focusing on the experience summary, so as to find new opportunities for college English teaching, explore new online paradigm and adapt to the new normal of teaching.
