In 2020, the second-round examination for Postgraduates of foreign colleges will be held on May 8 and 9. The college attaches great importance to the re-examination of postgraduates. Two groups have been established, a re-examination admission working group headed by President sun Daman and a re-examination admission supervision group headed by Secretary Zhang Yongning. Meanwhile, the group Secretaries have been organized to learn zoom network video conference platform and simulated network interview many times to ensure the re-examination of enrollment.
According to the basic requirements of preliminary examination results prescribed by State and university, our college's enrollment quota (full-time enrollment quota of 68; part-time quota of 15, and minority backbone of 2), combining with the situation of students from different disciplines, we determined the enrollment quota, retest score line and difference ratio of each discipline, and 107 examinees participated in the retest.
Affected by the epidemic situation, the retest of postgraduates was conducted on the ZOOM network video conference according to the requirements of our university, and was composed of four parts: qualification examination, quality test, interview environment test, and comprehensive professional interview. Professional comprehensive interview includes professional ability examination and comprehensive quality examination. The professional ability examination adopted the form of professional basic knowledge test question bank, and the examinee randomly determined the online questions by drawing lots, so as to examine the their professional knowledge, and comprehensive quality assessment mainly examined students' scientific research and innovation ability, logical reasoning ability, language ability, etc. The comprehensive interview has set up six network retest groups according to the subjects, and each group has a full-time retest secretary who was responsible for qualification examination, equipment debugging, examinee ranking admission, reexamination record and emergency management. The reexamination was conducted with two-way anonymity, the interview order was randomly determined by the drawing of lots , and the whole process was recorded and videotaped.
After a two-days intense qualification examination, interview and score calculation, the admission score of graduates to the Institute of Foreign languages were announced on the website of the College on May 11, 2020. The graduate enrollment of our college has been finished.
