On behalf of our university, a debate team consisting of junior student Deng Yuyan and sophomore Wang Haotian won the third prize in the 22nd FLTRP·ETIC Cup National English Debating Competition East China Final which was held at Liverpool University in the western suburb of Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province from March 22 to March 24. Ms. Wang Haixia, teacher of our college, was also awarded the titles of Excellent Instructor and Excellent Judge.
This competition not only shows the talent and overall quality of our students, but also enlarges the influence of our university. And it gave us valuable experience for the cultivation of foreign language talents and the improvement of students' foreign language practice abilities.
