Graduate students of College of Arts Won Prizes on the 7th Contest on Computer-Aided Translation & Technical Communication

In the 7th Computer-Aided Translation and Technology Communication Competition held on June 3, 2018Feng Yuanyuan and her teammates won the first prize in group competition; Professor Hu Caixia Best Tutor prize, and China University of  Petroleum(UPC) was awarded Excellent Organization prize.

After fierce competition, 40 students stood out from the preliminary contest among 1360 competitors and went in for the final. Luckily our player's excellent performance in fulfilling their tasks gained recognition from audiences, fully demonstrating the comprehensive quality and teamwork awareness of  UPC.

The competition was jointly hosted by Peking University School of Software and Microelectronics, China National Standardization Association Technical Communication Committee and China Translation Association Localization Service Committee.

The matchmainly focuses on translation technology and technical communication,and it has been successfully held for the seventh consecutive section since 2012. Different from traditional contests, it tests not only competitor’s language proficiency and communication skills, but also their capability of employing software tools, programming and project management.
